Grand Opening!
On Saturday, October 28, 2023, Loreauville VFD held our Grand Opening, where our membership invited the public to join us for the official opening of Loreauville’s new 5400 sq ft fire station located at 1016 N Main St. In attendance were many key supporters who were instrumental in securing the required funds to make this project possible. LVFD membership would personally like to thank Mayor Brad Clifton, State Representative Beau Beaullieu, State Senator Blake Miguez, and the many other supporters behind the scene that made this become a reality. Also in attendance were past members, including LVFD’s founding Fire Chief Terrence Essfeler, Fire Chief Perry Leleux, and Fire Chief Dennis Berard. LVFD would like to express our gratitude to Community First Bank and R3 for their continued support for the delicious meal they provided. Our new fire station is a huge asset to our Village and the surrounding area it serves. With our 2 back-in bays and one larger pull-through bay, LVFD is able to house our current fleet with room to add future apparatus and resources. Our office area provides equipment storage areas, an administrative office, a class/training room, and a kitchen. Moving forward into 2024, LVFD is entering our data collection year for the Villages PIAL Rating. LVFD will utilize our new facility to help solidify our Class 3 Fire Protection Rating for the Village. Our department has progressed over the last 4+ years. This is only possible because of the tremendous support we have received from our community. I would like to personally thank the community as a whole for your contributions that help LVFD better serve you.
